Golfing at Boulder Creek Country Club is just a short drive away... or just "hang loose and beach yourself on the river" where one can launch their kayak, fish for steelhead (in season) relax by the fish pond, read a book on one of the five balconies, put together a puzzle or play games.
The Howden Castle is about 20 minutes from Santa Cruz or Los Gatos.
